Thiago Mazza, 1984, was born in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. He holds a degree in Graphic Design from the State University of Minas Gerais – UEMG. Self-taught in painting, he came into contact with graffiti in 2010 and then started painting walls. Thiago appears as a great exponent of contemporary Brazilian muralism. He is known in the contemporary urban art scene for his mastery of representation of fauna and flora. His current subject of studies is tropical plants, their lush structure and dense foliage. Thiago has participated in festivals around the world, such as Artscape (Sweden), Vukovart (Croatia), UpFest (United Kingdom), Stenograffia (Russia), IPAF (Mexico) and CURA (Brazil). His work dialogues with classical painting, street art and contemporary art.
